A Leaf in the Ocean
Truth is relative
I feel everyone has their own truth
And they cling to it desperately
Whenever I watch a debate of views
I feel that they’re both right, to themselves
All I know is that I don’t know
It would be easier if I could just believe
Something someone told me
And cling to it desperately
But what’s the point?
All I am is a leaf in the ocean
It doesn’t matter what I think is going on
From the spot where I’m floating
I’m just a leaf in the ocean
All I’ll ever know is the water right around me
